Fun Monday "October"
The very first Fun Monday granted us all a view from every front porch. It was winter in the Northern Hemisphere and summer in the Southern Hemisphere. Not everyone has a front porch. Therefore, the rules will be more flexible for this photograph. (Of course Swampwitch has long ago tied them in pretzel knots with her interpretations.)
Here they are:I want to see what you see on any given morning this week; from somewhere very near where you live. Front porch, back porch, down the street, around the corner. Just makes sure it's your neighborhood. Post a photo that will send me to the travel agent to book a weekend at your local Bed & Breakfast.Post your October View on Monday, October 8 .Write a little or write a lot.
I wished it looked like the fall picture above but it don't. The weather here can be funny. Usually it has already rained and cooled down a bit, but not this year. It is suppose to next week.
The other image is of my house. I don't have any trees. It was 98 degrees yesterday and muggy. Finally it rained this morning, but going to heat up today. I really wish my camera was not broke. Maybe for my birthday (November) I'll get one. (Hint! Hint!) LOL! This year has been unseasonably hot. So, I don't know what our fall or winter will look like.
Usually is has cooled down and it may stay that way till about the end of November or December then you can wear shorts till about the end of February or beginning of March. We may get some snow, but mostly rain and ice.
Fall is my favorite time of year, that is why I wanted to do this post so bad, but unfortunately it didn't happen and no camera. But the picture of my house is what it did look like out side.
Sorry I have been getting my Fun Monday's in late, but my life has been a whirlwind lately. Hopefully this merry-go-round will stop soon or slow down enough for me to get off! LOL!
Can't wait till go check out everybody else's October!

My mom was just complaining about how hot it was at her house. It seems so strange, for it to be fallish at my house (usually hot) and miserably summer hot at her's, (usually cool by now).
Hope you get your camera :-).
Wow, I hope the heat breaks for you. We don't have the oranges of your first photo here, not like that anyway. I hope your life settles down for you. Keep a stiff upper.
would love to go jumping around in all those beautiful leaves, especially when they are dry and crunchie
Like you, I can't WAIT for the leaves to turn - it just hasn't happened very fast...and I'm READY.
We are finally getting cool weather here in Arkansas - maybe you'll get it soon!
I'm glad your FunMonday post was late. It takes me a whole week to get through all of them anyway!
I love the leaves turning colors! I've heard that it happens...but not in Texas (bummer).
For some reason the photos did not show up for me. But I realise I'm a very late visitor.
Ah while I was writing my last comment they appeared. What beautiful colours the leaves are.
