More treats & fun

(I have another post below this one. Just trying post all my treats from all the my sweet friends!)

Over at storyteller's I got Boo'd! Thank you girl! (I'll put it in my side bar later on today)

Now, this is how Blogging Boo will work. Go to as many friends as you want and tell them they've been "Booed". Have them link back to your blog to pick up their Halloween Treat (picture)! Tell them to "Boo" their friends. Then, put the picture in your side bar so everyone knows that you've already been "Booed".

So, are you scared yet!!?? Well, you better be!!! BOO!!!

One more time - the rules - short and sweet!
1. Take picture, put on sidebar
2. Tell people they have been booed
3. Link back to who booed you

I'm just passing this to however passes by and would like the treat. Please let me know though for I can come and check it out!

Know, here is a little fun quiz I found over at storyteller's also.
Go ahead! It's fun!

You Are 20% Witch

Nope, nothing really witchy about you!

You seem a bit too normal to be a witch. You don't have many witchy attributes.

You may want to consider dressing up as a witch for Halloween.

It's fun to feel a like a powerful witch, even if you're just pretending.

I have more fun coming tomorrow!!!!

Costumes and a treat!

Today I will take KB around town with my nephew's head start class. I will get more pictures of the scarecrows that I didn't get the other day. Hopefully if nothing happens I will post those pictures Friday with a little Halloween treat from the kids.
The church the kids and I have been visiting had a costume party last night for the kids. Below is a picture of each one. Even though the boys got into a fight just before left, they got over it and had a blast.
With a little extra bonus; Hootin Anni gave me a little treat! Ain't she just so sweet! Thank you sweetie for your sweeten goodness!

Here is my little Red and his baseball self! He is my little sports man. Hehe!

Here is my Rocker Dude! (I'm mad! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!) LOL! He dressed up as a worn out Marine. Rocker dude & Red had got into a fight just before the pic.

Here is my Lou Lou! Ain't she cute! She dressed up as Punky Brewster! Hehe! I know it's not exactly like punky, but it's colorful!

Scare crows in my Home Town

This year my home town had a scare crow contest. It was our towns 1st and I think everybody did a wonderful job. The kids and I just didn't have the time to make one this year. We have made scare crows the last 2 years in the near town near us with our small home school group. Our group even own those 2 years. Even though we didn't join this year I was glad our town done this. Here are just a few of the pictures I took today. I even made a video, but didn't have time to load it to you tube. Hopefully it will be loaded by tomorrow. I also wish I had more time to take better pictures.
Hope you enjoy!

This 1st picture is sitting in front of our Pontotoc Progress. (Where our local paper is made.)

This picture is on the side of our court house. The sign says, Every vote counts.

This place didn't have a scare crow, but it did have little pumpkins and I thought it was cute!

Ain't she just beautiful!

This little lady stands on the corner about a block from my house.

These 2 little fellows are just out side our electric company. Don't they look like they are working hard!

This little dude is at the other end of our court house. His sign says, 2 things for sure: Death & Taxes!

This lovely lady is outside one of our gift shops. Don't she look so pretty with her shopping cart?!?

This little lady looks real serious! She maybe trying to find her a deer.

This little dude is sitting in front of one of my favorite places; Java Johns Coffee Shop! He sure does look like he needs a cup of Joe! hehehe!

See that clown in front of Merle Norman? It may be a clue of what you may look like if you get a facial. LOL! Just playing!

Here is a better look at Miss Beautiful!
Hopefully I can get some more picture of the ones on the court square by Friday!

The Holidays are coming

BooBees!

I can not believe this year has flown by so fast! Halloween is Friday, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas. Where has this year gone?
We usually don't really celebrate Halloween, but this year will be different. We usually go to the church to play games, hay ride, eat, and other fun stuff. Since we no longer belong to that church Dan will take KB trick or treating while I sit with momma and hand out candy for her. We have been visiting a local church and they will have a costume party Wed night, so the kids will go to that.
I'm not one who likes change, but it's something we all must face every once in a while in our lives. I have had a lot of change this year! Not all has been what I wanted, but I believe everything happens for a reason or purpose.
I'm not sure what we will do for Thanksgiving & Christmas as far as mom's house will go, but more than likely I will have to do all the cooking. I have 2 nieces that need to straighten up their little tails also. I don't need or want any drama at our family eating.

Today is our Anniversary!

Today is Dan & my anniversary. Believe it or not for the last year or 2 I have mixed up how many years we have been married. We have been married today only 16 years and together 17 this past August. At least I didn't forget the day. LOL! It just feels like we have been married longer than 16 years.
We went out to eat last night to Ryan’s. I just love going their! Their buffet cost only $10 per person and they have just about anything you want. There is one station you can get a steak, and another station has baked potatoes, corn and other stuff. There are 2 different salad bars, 2 different tables that have all kinds of food like 4kinds of meat, all kinds of veggies and sometimes seafood. Then there is a dessert bar to die for!

JB's last 2 games

Yes sir, that's my baby! No sir, I don't mean maybe! Yes sir, that's my baby Now~

Last night was Jb's last game. The 7th grade didn't have but one win and 3 rain out, but I'm still proud of my baby boy! He played on Kick off return, Defencive line backer and defencive nose guard. Now, he will lift weights till Baseball season and football practice this summer. I'm hoping he still keeps his mind in the books since this season is over with. I don't think I have anything to worry about because I know my Josh!

What do you think?

Today is my baby's last ball game. I hope I don't forget the camera this time. (Bad Momma!) LOL!
I'm thinking of joining NaNoWriMo, but not sure if I'll have time. Is anybody else out there going to join? I joined last year, But mom got sick,so I didn't get finished. This year I already know how short my time is and have a schedule, so I feel I should give it a shot. If I don't finish, at least I will have a head start on my book. Since I lost the last one when my computer messed up and it will give me incentive to write. What do you think?

A little of this & that, 2 awards, and Thank yous!

This week has been one heck of a week! Mom has back down and I can't seem to get caught up or do all that I need to do since I came back from the Emmuas walk. It almost makes me want to scream, " Let me off this merry go round". Well, it's not that bad yet, but close.
Monday I had to go to a Parent/ Teacher conference at JB's school. I have been locked jawed every since he went back into public school. I have to say after this week I can relax a bit. The conference went very good and his report card looked wonderful in it self. He had 2 A's, 2 B's and a C. For a child to be as behind as JB was he did a fantastic job!
The C was in science. After the parent/teacher conference the science teacher let JB retake his 9 weeks test. He let someone read it to JB and then JB had to write the answers. His 1st test was a 50 and the 2nd was a 89 1/2. That's a big difference and the science teacher sees what I have been saying. Now, I need to write him a letter of thanks and to say that now he knows how JB does best at test taking, what are we going to do. 1- I need to find out if he is going to continue doing this. 2- If the other teachers can do this. 3- How will this affect him once he gets in high school. This is one of the reasons I had such a hard time putting him back in school. He is a smart boy, but just has a hard time with reading comprehending. (I guess or is it just his dyslexia???) But he wanted to play football and has done very well!
Well, I guess that's enough rambling for now.

My 1st award:
Pinki gave me this award. Ain't she just the sweetest?!?
Here's the translation of the award and the meaning behind it:
“This blog invests and believes, in ‘proximity’ [meaning, that blogging makes us 'close' - being close through proxy] "They are all charming blogs, and the majority of them aim to show the marvels of friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize, and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut, or that they propagate?" Then let’s try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to eight bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text.”

"So my understanding is that this award goes to people who are charming, unselfish, and I want to give them more attention."

Charming? If you say so. LOL! Unselfish!! Yes. I'm speechless!

The eight blogs I find charming, unselfish and whom I want to give more attention to are:
1. Deb's
2. SabrinaT
3. Jettie
4. storyteller
5. Not Jenny
6. MOM #1
7. Holly
8. Ami Mental
