Gosh! So, much as happened over the last few days. I have several post, but just so little time. I'll try to get the videos up of our Fun day at the park Monday later this week.
Momma got put in a room today. She still has a ways to go and we are not sure what it's going to be like when she gets to come home, because there was so much damage to her lungs. Like we needed that, but I'm just thankful we still have her.
Below is a few pictures and one video of the concert we went to Sunday. We had a blast! Or I should say the kids did. I had fun just watching them. The music was not my taste, except for Mercy Me, who played last. A group named Skillet played and what my kids enjoyed so much. I had no idea my kids like Hard rock/ head banger Christian music, but I do now. LOL! The bad thing that happened at the concert was a young girl knocked my big self all up in the floor. It's funny now, but sure wasn't at the time. All I could think of is, How Rude! she could have moved over, but didn't. We were standing still letting some of the crowd go by, standing in a straight line and holding on to each others shirt tail when this girl said, Excuse me, Move! Then rammed me and knock me down hard. It's not like she didn't have room and I was at the back of the line. I have no idea. Oh, well! It'll be alright. It will take a little while to get the videos up loaded since it takes an hour for each one and I'm spending most of my time at the hospital. Hopefully no later than this week end.
Gosh! The kids and I really needed them 2 days!

Glad your mom is making progress. Fear of being squashed or being trampled is why I'm not too keen on crowds, glad you all had a good apart from this!
I don't like big concerts, can't stand the crowds and usually the music isn't some I am crazy about. The have Breakforth and YC (youth conference) here in the spring that has seminars and music. YC is more for youth and has more music. My kids haven't gone. They don't seem to crazy about going. When or if that happens, I will send them with someone else.
Glad your mom is in a room and improving. Too bad her lungs are so damaged.
I'm glad you were able to get away, let off steam, take your mind off things. Glad you had a good time! It is great to hear that your Mom is still making progress!
Glad you guys had a chance to have a little fun. My last Christian concert was in Ill. We drove for what seemed like forever, pitched a tent and camped out for a week while walking around to the various stages. It was a huge music festival. Very cool. It was a long time ago. DC Talk was there among many others. Before that I had gone to see Carmen in concert. Boy, I am getting old.
I'm glad you had fun. That sounds more like torture to me, but it's funny the things that can be fun when your kids are enjoying it.
Glad to hear your mom is making progress.
How rude that girls was. Glad you had a good time and that your mum is a little better. Take care.
