I changed my novel on day 5 this year. I realized the novel I had wanted to write would take longer than 30 days. I needed research time. I was a little worried about my choice to start all over that far into the game. I was having to write no less than 1667 words a day and on day 5 I had over 6,000 words wrote. I was already falling behind then I just up and changed, but I knew if I put my mind to it I could do it! Well, back in March Ami started "Say Something Saturday." I really enjoyed doing that, but because my mom was really sick I got where I was unable to play. But, with Ami doing this, it gave me an idea to start another novel. I went through the net and was looking at pictures to see if I could come up with an idea. Guess what??? I did! I'm still behind on my word count, but if I apply myself I won’t have no trouble finishing this year. So, instead of writing a fiction novel of my life with a few add ons I'm writing a children’s adventure novel that the whole family can enjoy. I have been wanting to write a novel of my life and children’s books, now I can do both! Once the holidays are over I can start on my other novel and have my children’s adventure novel wrote. Wouldn't it be great if it got published! I'm not going to hold my breath, but it would be great!
Thank you Ami! You helped me again with out even realizing it!
Well, I'm off to get back to my writing and will come visit y'all later in the day!
Hope You Have A Happy!!

I'll be looking forward to your book :-). James loves adventure novels.

A good idea is half the battle.

I can't wait to read it!

I miss "Say Something Saturdays," maybe we can convince Ami to bring it back. I know we flaked out sometimes . . . maybe every other week instead of every week . . . hmmm there's an idea.

Sounds like a plan! I also can't wait to read it! I once started a childrens novel and then never got around to finishing it! LOL! I hope you have more luck than me.

Seems like changing your novel was the right choice and I wish you well as you continue to write the children’s story. I’m glad you had Ami to help you with the decision. Thanks for sharing the wonderful kindness quote … I may use it in one of my Simply Kind on Tuesday posts at Sacred Ruminations in the weeks ahead.
Hugs and blessings,

Good luck with getting it done. I think you will be able to do it with all your enthusiasm, despite the setback in losing a few days.
