I guess I'm a hermit

This week seems a little odd because we are not having church. Before I could get to church on Sunday I got a call that our services for this week were canceled because of a gas leak and possible carbon oxide poison. I know it's not going to hurt me missing a few services or I could go some where else to visit, but I just rather not go any where else. I know of a few good churches to go to, but just really don't want to go. On the other hand it feels weird not going. Normally I would go visit some where else, but this week is different. Here lately it seems the only places I go is to church and momma's. Well, beside going shopping for momma and our family. I don't know if it because I have not had a way to go except when Dan is home because his truck is tore up for 2-3 months or I use momma's car or if I'm just a hermit by nature. LOL! Maybe it's the cold rainy weather. Well, I know it will pass and it really wont hurt me staying in. I just thought it was funny when my hubby called me hermit. I have never been one, but the older I get it seems to be more my nature. There is NO place like home!

My hubby and I call ourselves hermits all the time. When we don't have to be somewhere, we really prefer to be at home.

'Tis okay enjoy your home and your own company, methinks.

When you have so much to take care of outside of home, like taking care of your mamma, it is nice to spend some time in the comfort of home. I so understand. Take some time to rest when you can. Have a nice cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, and curl up with a book whenever you have a few moments to yourself.

When my kids are grown, I plan to stay in my house as much as possible. Running the roads taking them here and there - ahem, socializing them - has me ragged. I'll take home any day!!
