A Special Thanks to Katherine!

In my post below I told a little about my trip to NC. I have to say that I really love the Internet. You always here about all the bad that goes on because of the web, but hardly any good. Well, I'm here to tell you it can be a wonderful place. 3 years ago I was real leery of the net and only talked to family, then I found the Denim Jumper and I was also introduced to the blogging world there. I have met some beautiful people in both places. Well, the other day when I got the phone call about Rory I went to the DJ and asked if anyone there was from NC and see if they could help me find my way, my way around NC, a good place to stay and so on and so on. Bless her heart, Katherine replied and was there for me. Bless her heart, when I called her and her family came and took me out to eat. I wish I could have spent more time to get to know this fine lady, but with Rory in the hospital and all I wasn't able. Kat may not think she did much, but just extending her hand to me meant a lot. She didn't have to do this, but she did. I'm so thankful for my wonderful friends I have from the DJ and here in my blogging world.
Kat!, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You did more than you know!

Best Friend Award

I have so many friends in this cyber world, but I have one person that I have seemed to connect better with than most.I feel that God has put us together for a purpose in our life at this time. I'm not sure if she feels the same, but I just want to take this time to thank her for being more than a friend.

A little something for Kris!

In our last round of secret pals on TDJ, kris (hsing3kinder) really spoiled me and made me really feel good. I really like looking at her drawings. This lady has heart and passion. kris has a way of inspiring me and others. So, I was wondering what little "Thank You" I could do for her. Why not give her an award that she deserves!

I hope none of my blogging friends get jealous (which I know they wont) I have a special award I want to give to a special lady. I have been thinking on this for about a week and had asked another blogging friend how to do this. She told me to just make one up, so I did. If any of my other blogging friends do something that stands out and I feel you need a little something something I will do the same for them.
So here it goes..... I would like to give Heather (http://supernaturalworld.blogspot.com/) the "RED NECK" Award! She is so funny and cute about her red neck ways and has been going through a hard time so I wanted to cheer her up.

It's was a little over whelming to find this out, but what I thought was so neat, That I was awarded this by Heather and Heather K. Ain't that just awesome! Both Heathers thought of me. I love these 2 women, they are really truly a friend.

Ooooooo, she did it agian!

My dear sweet sweet secret sis sent me a beautiful post card. I love the picture! I'm not sure if this has anything to do with her or where she lives, but in a way it makes me think back when I was a young girl walking over old wore out bridges. LOL! Sometimes I would act clumsy just to get wet! hehehehehehe!

My secret pal did it again

She sent me a card with some DARK chocolate! Oh, boy did I need it! The card and the chocolate.

My sp was right! It is good to communicate with other people instead of our kids all the time/ The TDJ is a really great group and I'm so proud to be a part of it and so proud to have such a great secret sis that I do.

I still haven't figured out who she is, but I haven't really tried, I think the surprize is what makes it special!

I have the sweetest secret pal!

I have gotten caught up in all this everyone wanting to come to Aunt Kate Kate's that my head as literary been spinning! I have about 15 kids at my house almost everyday no less than 5 since school was out. Oh, Boy! I love em I do but can't they love another aunt? LOL!
Well, with all that said, I went out to my mail box yesterday and I had a package! Yeah Me! I had almost forgot about the secret pal thingy that we have going on the D.J. It's like every time I get a secret pally she knows me so well even thou we are miles apart!
I got a over nite foot kit, which I needed badly! I love the little footies! I don't have to soak my feet in a wash tub, I can just put on my footies. (I have ruff feet,LOL!) Oh, I love the nail polish and how did she know that my brand of lotion?I got some new sharpies and I'm not sure if I'm gonna share with the kids or not. HA~HA! OMGees! I love the pen and note pad. I love writing little notes hear and there just to cheer someone up and I had used my last on the other day. OH! The tea lights. Let me explain..... I bought me a little tea lite holder set here while back, my last secret pal sent me 2 little cups and a little tea pot that matched my tea lite holder set and now my new secret pal sent some tea lights that match. Ain't that just cool?! I loved my stickers and ever thing else. Thank you my dear, you have surely cheered me up!

My Dear Sweet Cupig!

I just enjoy doing the secret pal thing on the Denim Jumper. It’s not because of the getting, but getting to get to know all these ladies and make friends. I get so caught up sometimes trying to figure out how to spoil my pal and then all the sudden I get a package. Each and every time it’s a joy. This time I had cupig. She was a lot of fun and really touched my heart. That’s what it is all about!

My favorite place!

I really love the Denim Jumper! It is my place where I have a lot of great ladies to talk to. It helps me to escape. It’s a place where you feel warm and cozy and just let it all hang out. We also have secret pals where we get to spoil each other and give each other support. I do wish that the D.J. was a little chattier. But that is ok.
