My nerves are just about Shot................

Yes, she is cute and I just wanna pinch those checks, but still don't know the results of the DNA. Plus, Daniel is a lot better, but not 100%. I have not called the oral surgeon yet. Yes, I know! Shame on me, but this week has been crazy with the baby being born Monday. Today I had a 4 mth old, 9mth old, 2yr old, 3yr old and 4yr old. So, hopefully tomorrow I will not have so many and I will call the oral surgeon. I know one thing is for sure, I better call the Dr before I get the call about the DNA results.
Hope you all have a Blessed Night!

My husband has been sick all week

Dan woke up last Sunday with a high fever. We couldn't figure out what causing it. No coughing, no throwing up, no clue at all. Monday his face started swelling, but it was not his teeth. Took him to the Dr and I thought our Dr was gonna stand on his head because he said Dan needed to be in the hospital. I had took him to our local ER and after 7 hours we still have not seen a Dr. So, at 5 am Tuesday morning we went home and got 2 hours sleep. After our 2 hours sleep we went to our local Dr. After our Dr stood on his head he gave Dan 2 shots and 2 different kinds of antibiotics. He told us if the swelling in his face was not better by morning to call him back. Dan's face went down some Wednesday morning, but about 4 pm that Wednesday is was swelling even worse than the 1st time. I called the Dr and he told me to take him to the Tupelo Hospital instead of our local one. They gave Dan 2 bags of antibiotics by IV and told us to come back the next day and let him be checked. So, at 8 o'clock the next night we went back. The Dr we was suppose to see still haven't made it in and the Dr we saw labeled Dan right off the bat and told us to go see a dentist. OK! Dan has been diagnosed with facial cellulitis and he tells us to go to a dentist. Friday morning I take Dan back to Tupelo ER after I call our Dr. The Dr on call finally took us serious and gave Dan more meds. We have to call a oral surgeon Monday to make an apt because the infection in his face has no escape route and it needs to be cleaned. He had a rough day yesterday and I'm not sure about today yet because he is still in the bed. I'm ready for him to feel better. He is worse than the kids. LOL!

This goes with my post below

Don Williams - Lord, I hope this day is good
Litening to Don Williams has helped me a lot here the last month.

Sorry I haven't been around since....

I lost momma 1/11/10. I have been keeping myself really busy. To the point of over load! My older brother, Mike, got busted for a meth lab 2 weeks after our mother past. I spent almost all my time and energy trying to help him and his wife. I couldn't even grieve over momma because I was so focused on Mike. In March when momma's money came in, Mike's wife, started trying to put a wedge between Mike and I. Well, when the money was gone and Mike was gone to the pen she put the ultimate wedge between us. He went to the pen in June 2010 and was home by that Dec. I have seen him twice since June 2010. I'm the only one in the family not allowed to talk to him.
Feb. 2011 my great nephew was diagnosed with cancer the day before his 2nd birthday. I started helping my niece out with her other 2 kids. Through the summer I help keep Fisher and his 2 brothers, plus I got where I was keeping other great nieces and nephews to help my family out. (My great nephew is cancer free and doing really well.) When school started I thought my life would slow, but NAW, no such luck!
Let me back up to the day before Mother's Day 2011. My middle child lost his virginity. About 6 weeks after that I got a phone call saying that the little girl was pregnant. So, in the middle of keeping all these kids we was dealing with that and helping the girl all we could. After the little girl found out she was having a girl she has started cutting us out of the picture. Well, to make a really long story short because I would have a book if I wrote it all out. LOL! Okay, back on track. I have a lawyer and have called DNA people and in less than 3 weeks I may or may not be grand maw.
In the middle of all that my brother in law's (Dan's brother!)girlfriend called DHS on me and my nieces ex sister in law also called them on me to get to my niece. Yes, DHS got 2 phone calls on me in 1 day. The list was a mile long. I did fail the day came. Why? Well, I spent 3 or more days trying to help my brother in law and his girlfriend out that I didn't touch my house in a few days and when she got to my house there was popcorn all in the floor because I had 4 or 5 kids. LOL! The big topper was that Dan had a deer head on the front porch. Since he has got down in his back he can't do as much in day and after pulling that deer out of the woods he couldn't do much else. He was gonna take it off when he left the next day, but he forgot because he was hurting so bad. Now, it has been 3 mths and DHS has not come back by. That drives me nuts! Cause I feel I should be up cleaning from the time I get up till the time I go to bed.
Now, all that has got me where I am today. A couple weeks ago I cried my eyes out over missing momma and Mike. (Remember, I lost 2 precious people in 2011) After my crying spell I realized I was headed for crash and burn. After some long soul searching I am now learning to take a few mins a day and working on moving up from there.
Life is to short! We can either let others define us or we define our self. I was letting others define me and it was tearing me up in side and showing really loud on the outside. I have decided to stop letting others define me and over look every body's BS and sit back and enjoy letting the Lord take care of my problems. Now, I'm not perfect so I'm only letting go a little at a time. I know I need to let it all go, but at least I'm on the right track.
Peace, Love & Happiness to all!

That is how I feel today. I don't have any of my great nephews or nieces here today, so I will be cleaning house and learning to take a moment for myself. Instead of I got to get it done! I got to get it done!
Ya'll Have a Blessed Day!

A little update in my world!

Yesterday KB and I started back with her schooling. We mostly did reviews because it's been so long since we have done any schooling. Yes, we did a little here and there especially when momma was at the Dr or having her treatment. I feel our schooling will much better today. KB seemed to enjoy getting back into it or maybe it was all that one on one attention she got. Yesterday was the hardest I have had since momma passed away though. I was able to hold my crying in till Dan got home for I could go to my room and cry all by myself and let it out. I actually feel much better this morning. It's hard being the strong cookie trying to hold everybody else up, but at least I'm still able to have my moments to let it all out.
I feel like once I get us a schedule set up I should be able to blog and visit more. I think that will help a lot also because I sure have missed yall so much.
My brothers and I have got to make ourselves go and clean the rest of momma's house out this weekend. I think that will be a big part of our healing and help my little brother set the house up the way he wants it.
I hope to see yall soon! Take care and have a wonderful day!

Thank you everyone for your kind words, Love and support.

This week has been like a foggy whirlwind. It is finally starting to die down and reality is setting in. The good thing about all this is I don't have any regrets and my brothers and I coming together even closer if one could imagine that. We have always been close, but with us growing up and having our own families, we just didn't seem as close as we did when we lived at home. This week we have bonded together in a new bond, which is great in my book. I have seen other families fall apart and fight over a parent passing and I don't think I could have dealt with this week if we had all that going on. The hardest thing this week besides momma not being here is cleaning out her house. I'm glad we all are going to have little pieces of momma with us, but the house will never be the same. My youngest brother got the house and he said it was harder staying there without momma than he thought. I could not imagine I'm having a hard time just going over there. He said he was going to give it 6mths to see if it gets easier and if not he is going to more than likely sell it. If he does I will not blame him, but I doubt he will because he has lived in that house since he was 2.
We still have a few legal things to deal with and finish cleaning out mom’s house. After today, I’m going to start back schooling with the kids. That will help keep me busy and hopefully make things a little easier. Not only was she my mother she was my best friend. I’m holding together okay, but have found myself saying to the kids when they are picking on me, I’m going to tell my momma. I did that yesterday and my middle brother called as soon as I got it out of my mouth. What made it so weird is that he has momma’s phone and I have not changed it to his name in my phone. So, as soon as I said I’m going to call momma momma called my phone. It was one of those moments where my heart sank, but made me laugh at the same time.
I just want to thank everyone for sticking with me in the last 2 years and being such dear friends!
Hugs to everyone and hope you have a blessed day!

I can't beblieve this year is about gone.

I have been running around in such fast pace that, I could barely keep up with myself. Then Wednesday my world changed again.
Momma went into respiratory arrest. The 1st Dr was sugar coating everything and had us to believe momma would be off the vent by Monday. But, I knew she didn’t look or seem to be doing as well as he tried to make us believe. Last night one of the Lung Doctors from the clinic she goes to called us in to talk about what was going on and what to expect.
He said that we were looking at another week on the vent. If she is still with us at that time, but not able to come off the vent, then they will have to trach her. He said if they have to trach her and she has to stay on the machine for weeks or even months, then we would have to put her in a long-term health care. If she gets to the point where at anytime during that she is able to come off the vent, then we could bring her home. Now, this is worse case scenario. No matter which direction this takes us things are going to be different as far as momma’s health care.
Please keep my family and me in your thoughts.
Maybe with momma being in the hospital I may have some more computer time, but one never knows.
I do miss each and everyone very much!

Thanks to Everyone!

Thank each and everyone for your kind words. It feels good to know there is someone out there who cares. Despite all that is going on I'm doing good, but momma isn't at this point.
There for about 4 weeks she was doing really well. Even though she was feeling so good, I still had to be there. Being wheelchair bound there isn't a lot she can do for herself, plus she wanted to go visiting and shopping. For the last week, she has been feeling worse than she did before the good 4 weeks. I really don't know what is going on. On top of momma needing someone there 24 - 7 my kids keep me busy.
For those who do face book, I'm planning on opening me another account with them because my kids play so many of them games. That way I can send and receive messages on my phone. I will let ya know when I do that. (Maybe Saturday if I can get someone to give me a day.)
Oh, the other day KB and I were talking and being silly on our way to mommas and she gave me an idea for my Children's Adventure Book I started. Maybe I need to get me a laptop for I can finish my book and keep up with ya'll.
I hate to cut it short and to the point, but got to get to moms.
HUGS & Loves!!!!!!

Home all by myself!

I didn't plan it this way it just happed! If I had planned it, something would have happened. LOL!
I really miss every one of ya'll and there is not a day I don't think about ya'll. You may think I'm just saying that, but I'm not. I know all of ya’ll have a busy life, but here lately it's been hard to get online. Let me just give ya’ll a little break down of our summer.
* Aron (my oldest) worked through the summer program. After the program was over, he went to work for a few mths laying brick to finish paying off his truck that he put a down payment with his summer program money. He also went to summer camp and helped out with what he could with momma.
* Josh (my middle child and busiest child) Went to paw paw's house the 1st 2 weeks of summer to help pawpaw. He worked a little bit laying brick, went to 2 summer camps, went with the church to a water park, did community work with the church, summer football practice, and helped with momma with what he could.
* Katie Beth (My youngest) Went on 3 summer camps and helped a lot with momma.
With the kids being scattered and not at home I didn't have as much help as normal with momma, but I’m just glad they had a GREAT summer.
With school, starting things have not slowed down a bit.
Hope to catch up with ya’ll soon! Take care! Love ya Bunches!

Hello everyone

And a BIG THANK YOU to Ami! Girl!, I appreciate your card you sent. It brought me so much JOY! I think about you and several others each and everyday. I have tried to sit and write you back several times, but I get interrupted.
The last time I wrote on my blog I was bummed out, burned out and whatever else you want to call it. I'm doing a whole lot better, but have not had time to sit down at the computer very much. My kids have been doing my farm town and farm-ville for me on face-book.
Mom has been doing really good for the past 3 - 4 weeks, but life is still so busy I don't even have time to do very much.
Hopefully in a few days I can set down and write a post about everything going on and catch up on some of yall.
I love and miss yall very much!
HUGS to All!!!

Just when I needed you most

NOT LIKE THE SONG BY Randy VanWarmer, BUT JUST THE OPPISITE.
Thank you Jettie for my homemade journal book! It really did come in when I needed it the most! I had forgotten about giving you my home address until it came in the mail, so it was a wonderful surprise! Why did I say when I needed it most? My beautiful KB is going to be gone all this week because she is gone to church camp. This is her first time really away from home, except with family. Plus, I can't talk to her every night before she goes to bed. I think that's the hardest part. But, my baby is growing up and I know she is having a BLAST! She really needed this break because she has been helping me with momma so much.
The second reason this wonderful package came in when I needed it most:
Momma is getting to more than a handful! She is becoming very needy and can become mean as HELL! Before I could get a family meeting together my oldest brother told momma that I was going to put her on Hospice. He didn’t say that I was thinking of it, why I was thinking of it, or that I was going to ask everyone his or her opinion. Mom and I got into a heated argument. I told her why I was THINKING of this and that I wanted us to talk about it. After about an hour, she calmed down then told me why she didn’t want Hospice. She said that if we put her on Hospice and she went into respiratory arrest we would not be able to get her off Hospice fast enough to put her on a ventilator. She said that if we put her on Hospice and she went into respiratory arrest we would not be able to get her off Hospice fast enough to put her on a ventilator. So, I guess we will not do Hospice and wait till September to get help.
Well, I’m running out of time. Thanks again Jettie! You are a real sweetie!
Hope you have a wonderful day! Hopefully I will have time to come and visit soon!!!!!
